How to apply

Thank you for your interest in joining Mandelbaum House!

Applications for 2027 are now open.

Please note that all residents must be 18 years of age or older by 14 February 2027.

To apply, please complete the following steps:

1. Submit the online application form.
2. Arrange one referee to complete the online referee report.
3. Pay the $100 application fee.

Once we receive your completed application, we’ll contact you to arrange an interview.

All applicants are interviewed by the CEO before an offer is made. Interviews are held in person at the college, or via Zoom.

How to confirm your place

If your application and interview are successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer and a Residency Agreement via email. Your Letter of Offer will outline the timeframe for accepting your offer and completing the required steps.

To confirm your place at Mandelbaum House, please complete the following:

1. Return your signed Residency Agreement to admin@mandelbaum.usyd.edu.au
2. Complete the New Resident Family Form
3. Pay the security bond ($1,800) and registration fee ($460)

Your place at Mandelbaum House will be secured once all of the above requirements have been completed within the timeframe specified in your Letter of Offer.
